Simple Joy

When you are a child, life is simple. You get satisfaction out of every little things in life.


I always enjoy smelling the flowers. Even wild flowers fascinates me.

Mom's Note:

We get so caught up with our lives that sometimes we tend to forget the simple joys in life.  Let us stop and be  a child again and smell the flowers.  A simple act.  Simple thing yet fun.

Cute Hat

I saw mommy wearing a sun brim hat when we went fishing and I wanted one for myself. Mommy's hat is just too big for me. So, daddy bought me one.


I can't get enough of my new hat. I wore it at home while watching my favorite tv shows in Nick Jr.

Best Picnic

I like it when my friends come over in our place because it means we can play until it is bedtime for me.  The last time they came over, we had played music using all my music instruments.  We also built castle using my blocks.  We read books and a lot more.


After couple of hours of playing, mommy told us it is time to eat. We ate rice and soup and we made picnic out of it.

We spread our picnic blanket in the floor and we ate there. To me this is the best picnic ever!

Second Haircut

Few days ago, I asked my mom to have my hair cut. I just felt that I wanted a new haircut.  Mom prefers me to have a long hair does she told me that she will just trim it.

She also explained that trimming my hair will be good for my hair's health.  So here I am with a newly trimmed hair.

Meet Harley

Mommy met a new Filipina and her name is Tita Melanie. She has a son named Harley.

Harley and I are friends now. He is the youngest of all my friends. Meet my new friend Harley.



When we visited them at their house, we have fun. We played in their backyard and Harley shared his toys to us. We also eat a lot of goodies.

Family Fishing

Yesterday was a fun day! We all went fishing again.

The water was cool but it didn't stop me from enjoying it. I throw some rocks and leaves. It amazes me how fun it is to watch the leaves "swim" in the water.

Mommy and I caught some fish and we throw them back to the water. While we were fishing, we saw 3 trains in the train track. We also saw a helicopter. It was so much fun yesterday and we will be back again. The next time we go there, if the weather is nice, they will let me soak my feet in the water.

I actually can't wait to go back. My friend Matthew and Tita Alma said they will join us next time. This will mean more fun for me.

Reading with Daddy

Researchers found that children had better language comprehension and cognitive development if their parents began reading to them at an early age. Many studies have demonstrated the benefits of parents reading to preschoolers in terms of improved language development.

New Books

I got new books in the mail today. I was so surprise to get new more books.

Thanks to Nana and Papa who ordered the books for me. Yeah... more books to read for me!

It's Mommy's Special Day

It is mother's day and I am excited. Daddy and I went to the store to buy mommy a card and a present. I can't wait for mommy to have them.

When the clocked strike 12MN, I told mommy " Mommy, close your eyes" and then I said " Happy Mother's Day Mommy. Here's a card and a present for you"

Mommy loved the card and the present. I called it a ring but daddy explained that it is a necklace. I started Mother's day celebration very early.

When I woke up today, I also told mommy a happy mother's day. I gave her a kiss and a hug too and I reminded her that I gave her a card and a present.

Later this afternoon, we went to Nana's and Papa and I also told my Nana a happy mother's day. I gave her a card which I drew a mountain, a face, fishing, and a lot of shapes. Then I had so much fun playing and eating goodies.

Shopping, Playing, and Friends

We live near to an outlet mall. We love going there because they have a play area. When we get hungry from playing, we can always get something to eat in the food court. We like taking pictures in the water fountain too.


We really don't care about shopping unless our mommies bring us to Toys 'R Us or Learning Express where we can shop for toys. Other than visiting these store, we just let our mommies shop while we enjoy ourselves playing.

Mommy is Back!

Okay, mommy didn't update my blog for 3 weeks.  We have been very busy.  Our "social calendar" is always busy.  We had weekend get together at our own place.  We went to mall and play in their play area.  We went shopping, we ate out and a lot more.

So many things had happened for all the time that mommy is not updating this blog.  She promised to update and tell you what we have been too all these time.
