It was Daddy’s Birthday

Yesterday was daddy's birthday.  Mommy and I made a secret.  We baked him a cake.  We didn't tell him because it was a secret.

I kept the secret from daddy.  When Mom told me that it was time, I was excited because we put candles on the cake and lit it up.  We brought it to daddy who was in the living room.  We sang happy birthday to him and then we gave him our presents.


I gave my daddy a birthday hug and kiss and then I couldn't wait to put my finger in the cake frosting.  The cake was so good, well why not, when I helped make it right?
